Can't open file: 'mos_session.MYI' - 2004/12/04 00:57 If you have a mambo web site and receive the following error:

Notice: Can't open file: 'mos_session.MYI'. (errno: 145) in /usr/home/your_home/public_html/includes/database.php on line 184

DB function failed with error number 1016
Can't open file: 'mos_session.MYI'. (errno: 145) SQL=SELECT session_id FROM mos_session WHERE session_id=MD5('string_of_numbers_letters')
SQL =
SELECT session_id FROM mos_session WHERE session_id=MD5('string_of_numbers_letters')

These are the steps to fix it:

Log into your cpanel

Click on the mysql link

Click on phpmyadmin

In the new browser window that opens up, select your mambo database.

On the right hand side of the screen, scroll down until you see the mos_session

It should say in use. If not, there is another problem. If it does say in use, proceed.

Select the checkbox next to mos_session and from the drop down list, select Repair table

On the next screen that appears in your web browser, phpmyadmin should say Repair Status O.k.

Click on the link that says, Structure in the top of your browser window. Scroll back down and make sure that mos_session does not say in use and that the problem is fixed.
