Must now be a registered user to post in forums... - 2006/01/17 14:00 We had a pretty lax policy on posting to our message forums because we wanted any visitor to be able to ask us about pre-sales information, plus we wanted existing customers to be able to post help requests without first having to register.

Due to recent spam messages being posted in these forums and our employees having to spend more time than necessary monitoring the forums and deleting spam, we have now changed the policy so that only registered visitors may post. All visitors may read the forums.

If you want to know more about this spam and its abuse, please see this article I recently wrote concerning another web site with a similar problem:

Defeating referral/referrer spam

Thanks for your understanding in this matter.

Edited to correct url, which was pointing to a forum post concerning this article and not the actual article url.
