How much disk space do I get for files, mailboxes - 2004/12/08 02:59
Our hosting plans start at 25 megabytes of disk space. Other plans include even more disk space. When you host with us, you simply chose the amount of disk space you need and the amount of bandwidth you require.
All of our hosting plans include the same features along with unlimited email addresses, unlimited email forwarding, unlimited auto-responders, unlimited mailing lists, unlimited mySQL databases, unlimited sub-domains, unlimited add-on domains, unlimited FTP accounts, and unlimited E-commerce shopping carts within your amount of disk space.
Disk usage in excess of what is included with your hosting plan requires a different plan and you will be billed accordingly. For example, if you have the 25mb plan but are using 40mb of disk space, you really require the 50mb plan and you will first be given either the option to delete some files, or upgrade your plan if you are unable to delete some files.
Your current disk usage is always shown on the front page of your cpanel Control Panel on the left hand side, http://www.xtremewebhosts.com/images/stories/cpanel_screen.gif
Your disk usage total includes all files owned by you, any logs in your /logs directory, all messages in your mailboxes, and all space used by your databases.
System files (/bin, /lib, /var, etc) are not included in your total disk usage calculation.
